Charles H. Peck, age 82, of Gowanda, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
Charles was born in Batavia, NY, on October 5, 1940, the son of Kenneth E. and Hazel I. (Barber) Peck. A proud United States Veteran, Chuck honorably served with the U.S. Air Force.
On June 15, 1963, Charles married Linda L. Stout in Gowanda, beginning a loving partnership that spanned 60 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose family meant everything to him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Stout) Peck; daughters Susan (Kenneth) Roberts of Portland, NY, and Stephanie (Christopher) Sanzo of Ellicottville, NY; and his cherished grandchildren Christina Logel, Meghan (Anthony DiBenedetto) Roberts, Madelyn Roberts, Gabriella Sanzo, and Talia Sanzo. Chuck is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were a meaningful part of his life.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings Harry (Kay) Peck, Alice (David) Phelps, Elsie (Ernest) Batten, and Harold Peck.
Chuck will be remembered as a gentle, steady presence who loved his family deeply and served his country with honor.
