Celebrating the Life of Frederick J. Webber

A cherished life remembered with love and gratitude.

February 10, 1937  –  October 31, 2025

Frederick J. Webber, age 88, of Forestville, passed away Friday morning, October 31, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 10, 1937, he was the son of Reginal and Irene (Porter) Webber.

Fred was a Lay Minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Perrysburg, where he also served as a Church Elder. His ministry was rooted in compassion, and his love for God was shared with many throughout Western New York. He was an outdoorsman who cherished time with family and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On August 18, 1979, Fred married Temple (Drewiega) Kuhn in Hamburg. Their union created a large, blended family built on love and faith—values that continue to guide the extended Webber and Kuhn families. Whether known as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend, or spiritual leader, Fred will be deeply missed.

Fred retired from Local 210 in Buffalo, where his work brought him to a variety of construction projects across the region.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Temple; his children: Daniel Webber of Gowanda, Cyndi (Tim) Shook of Olivet, MI, Tim (Jade) Webber of Forestville, and Todd (Kristy) Webber of Albion; and Temple’s children: Patrick (Yupha) Kuhn of Florida and Greg (Sarah) Kuhn of York, ME. Fred and Temple were blessed with 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister, Diane Emke Webb of South Dayton; in-laws Dorothy Webber (Edward’s wife) and Sharon Webber (William’s wife); as well as several nieces and nephews, including many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his sons Douglas, Randy, and James Webber (James’s wife Kate survives); and his siblings Dorothy Babbit, Edward Webber, Ilean Nenoff, William Webber, Joanne Gage, Carol Gage, Gordon Webber, and Albert Webber.
